Head for the highest part to find the old town. Lovely cobbled streets filled with lots of interesting little shops which lead up up to the plaza with old church. There are stunning views of the coast from this vantage point.

Highly recommended – make sure you bring your swimming suits etc. Four beautiful natural cold pools to take a dip in, lots of shade around and interesting paths to ramble and explore.
There is a cafe at the entrance, you will have to pay a small entrance fee.

A beautiful mountain top castle steeped in history, overlooks a blue lake with stunning views.
A pretty village with some lovely little shops, museums and restaurants – well worth a visit. If your planning a trip make sure you stop off at Fonts D ‘ Algar waterfall on the way. Click below for more detail
